Rumi – “The Demon Within Me”

This design is a deeply symbolic tribute to Rumi from Kpop Demon Hunters, embodying her dual nature and the emotional journey she endures between her human and demon selves. At the center, Rumi holds a traditional fan. The fan features Derpy’s mouth, which she positions in front of her own, a playful yet poignant nod to her connection with the demon tiger cat who represents both chaos and comfort in her world.

The fan’s surface is richly detailed with the Huntrix logo as a repeating pattern, symbolizing her ties to the demon-hunting sisterhood, while an emblem inspired by her necklace reflects her heritage and inner strength. Along the bottom edge, a woven thread design represents the bracelet she received with Jinu: a quiet reminder of trust, connection, and the fragile bonds that ground her humanity.

Half of Rumi’s face is shown as human, soft and contemplative, while the other half reveals her demon form, fierce and resolute. This contrast captures her acceptance of both sides of herself — no longer hiding, no longer torn between worlds.

Framing her is a circular background representing the Honmoon, the magical barrier that shields the human realm from invading demon forces. Within this protected space, Rumi’s presence feels both sacred and defiant , as if she stands guard not just over the world, but over her own identity.

Etched in Korean text are the words “No More Hiding”, inspired by the Kpop Demon Hunters song “Golden”, a message of self-acceptance and courage. Above it, the phrase “The Demon in Me” serves as both title and tribute, an homage to Rumi’s journey of facing her inner truth and finding balance within her dual nature.

Every detail of this design : From the fan and jewelry to the symbolic thread and protective circle intertwines to tell Rumi’s story: one of conflict, love, and transformation.

Front Design — “Guardians’ Emblem”

Derpy’s face takes center stage, surrounded by the signature weapons of Rumi, Zoey, and Mira: a united symbol of the bond between the demon tiger and the hunters who fight beside him. Together, they represent strength, loyalty, and the unbreakable spirit of the Kpop Demon Hunters
